Blaquer Than Blac Productions Self-Tape Instructions
The DEADLINE for sending in self-tapes is February, 21st by 12pm at the absolute latest, but the sooner you get it in, the better. Please don’t wait until the deadline before sending it in if possible. There were too many roles in this project to see everyone in the same day via a zoom callback, so for most of the roles our clients are just asking that you make a 2nd self tape as your callback instead.

The easiest file type to submit your tape in is mp4 because it’s a smaller file size, but we’ll also accept the files as MOV or m4v if you can’t export it to an mp4. We have a 600mb file size limit, so please make sure all files are SMALLER than 600mb.

-Please name your files in the following format: YourName_YourNumber_RoleName.
For example: MorganMcKinley_9178675309_Aunt

-Make sure you ONLY submit 1 file (with slate and all of your
takes on that 1 file). DO NOT SUBMIT MULTIPLE FILES or else
your submission may not be considered!

---Please make sure you have GOOD LIGHTING, and if you are filming with your phone, please make sure to do so in LANDSCAPE (HORIZONTAL) and not Portrait (vertical). Also, make sure that whatever you are using as your camera, that it is positioned so that it is at EYE LEVEL for you.

SLATE: START THE TAPE WITH A SLATE of your Name, Agency or Phone Number (if you are unrepresented) Height, Location and then tell us if you are fully vaccinated for Covid yet or not, then show us profiles, and then zoom out to give us a full body shot as well as your
profiles
